Artist Heaven is a non-profit organization that provides educational content through seminars and classes via various art meduims to youth that is based in Detroit, MI. The purpose of this brand identity was to capture the essence of the passion and spirit of the founder and communicate that to a specific demographic that includes youth, parents, and other community partners.
Milner Café is a self-branded café located within Illinois State University’s Milner Library. The Bird Bites food product line is also sold here. Since the cafe serves as a space for studying, reading, and an area to have a quick snack before class for students, I crafted the word “Milner” with my own handwriting for a personal touch. I coupled it with a san-serif font to balance the name between the library’s history and a fresh look for students.
Maximum Life Now is a personal development company that hosts a monthly online podcast. In this project, I designed a logo that was used on the website and through several online platforms including facebook, twiitter, soundcloud, and itunes. I also designed several promotional pieces and social media banners to advertise and brand the content.

Bird Bites is a self-branded food product line provided by Illinois State University’s Culinary Support Center. This design was developed from the organization’s desire to have clean and simple look to easily distribute across food labels. I chose a san-serif font to emphasize a modern and fresh concept that is synonymous fresh organic food product. Through hierarchy of type, I emphasized the “bites” and University logo for easy brand recognition.
Hill Valley Chiropratic is an independent practice looking to expand in central Illinois. As apart of this effort, this project was designed to create and brand identity and create a promotional piece that would be used for a billboard and other media outlets including both print and digital.
Central Illinois Trucks is a commercial trucking company that has been serving central Illinois since 1975. This project was designed to communicate the brand of two of the company’s divisions, both f inance and leasing, as a means to better serve their customers. I also reformatted their main brand identity to be used on other platforms.
BJ Armstrong Custom Homes is a residential home building company. For this project , I completed a redesign of the brand identity to reach a niche target market for high end custom homes in the Bloomington- Normal area.
